We're the Second Hand Elastic Band.  We shorten the name to SHEB otherwise our name wouldn't fit on our business cards :-)

We're four musical friends from East Kilbride and have been performing since we got together as kids back in 2006.  In that time we've developed as musicians into a really tight night band but we still love what we do and get a real buzz out of performing at weddings, parties and corporate events, in fact anywhere that needs really good live music.

With so many years experience behind us, we've learned to handle every kind of situation that playing in a band can throw at us, so despite our youthful appearance, we pride ourselves on professionalism and our ability to read any audience so that everyone in the room has a great time.

So what do you get when you hire SHEB?

• Four musicians on drums, bass, guitar, keyboards and vocals - all 100% live, no backing tracks allowed

• Good quality equipment - we use state of the art gear so that you'll always hear us at our best - and the equipment is PAT certified, something your venue will probably ask for
  
  
• We'll learn your first dance - even if it's something we don't already play (just give us 12 weeks notice so we can get it up to our normal high standards)
  
  
• We'll play anywhere in Scotland although for bookings over a certain distance we may need B&B
  
  
• A great reputation - most of our bookings are through word of mouth plus we're one of a select few bands working in partnership with Scotland's biggest agency Hireaband
  
  
• We're constantly learning new tunes, both current chart hits and classic floor fillers - you'll always hear something you know and love
